Private SuperTuscan wine tour in Montecarlo
Great experience for those who want to discover an ancient wine estate in Montecarlo, and feel the authentic Tuscan atmosphere.
Along the way, you will pass by some of the historic and majestic Lucchese countryside villas, built by wealthy nobles from the 16th century onwards. Next, you will follow a winding road to reach the medieval village of Montecarlo, which overlooks the sunny profile of the hills, offering a truly breathtaking panoramic view! The visit continues with a tour of the small village, characterized by one of the most glorious medieval fortresses in the whole of Lucca.
At the wine estate, you will discover the different stages of winemaking and the production of high-quality extra virgin olive oil. The visit will also include a walk through the vineyards and the impressive olive trees. The tasting will begin with the best Montecarlo DOC red and white wine. You will sample different vintages and authentic Tuscan food, such as crostini, including a delicious appetizer of Italian tomato bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil. You will also taste salami and pecorino, before enjoying the grand finale: cantucci biscuits and the traditional Tuscan sweet dessert wine!
On the way back, the atmosphere will come alive with traditional Italian songs, capturing the joy of this fantastic half-day outing, immersed in the authentic Italian atmosphere, between culinary art and winemaking!
