Fiesole is located just outside Florence on hills that offer a unique view of the city, but far from mass tourism and crowded places. From here, it is quick and easy to leave the chaos of the city behind and immerse yourself in a unique landscape where historic villas, farms, and churches are scattered among olive groves, cypress trees, and vineyards. The panoramic view extends 360 degrees. To the north, it reaches the Apennine Mountains, which mark the border of Tuscany, and to the south, it extends to the hills of Chianti.

The route runs along numerous back roads in the countryside, far from traffic, the traditional roads of the rural landscapes near Florence. You will reach the place where Leonardo da Vinci lived and studied birds, dreaming of flying, where Dante loved Beatrice, and, depending on the season, a monastery immersed in a centuries-old fir forest, or the family home in the countryside where Michelangelo Buonarroti grew up.

Along the way, the local and native guide will give you the opportunity to stop at farms to purchase and enjoy local farm-to-table products such as vegetables, fruit, wine, honey, cheese, cured meats and extra virgin olive oil.
