Evening trekking in the beautiful Tuscan landscapes
Beautiful evening excursion in the countryside of Casole d'Elsa. We will start the route from the village with an urban trek, admiring the artistic and historical wealthwhich can be seen in the 14th-century fortress, the Palazzo Pretorio with its ancient coats of arms and the Romanesque Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta (outdoors only).
From the characteristic medieval alleys of Casole d'Elsa, we will enter into the open countryside accompanied by incredible views that range from Volterra to the Metalliferous hills. We will reach a panoramic point of particular beauty in the valley of the Rio Sellate where we will stop to admire the sunset between undulating hills. We will resume enjoying the quiet and listening to the sounds of nature, guided by our headlamps and the lights of the village.
The tour will take place on Saturday, June 14 with departure at 6.00 PM.
