Outdoor Experience

With the Outdoor Experience program, environmental guides lead to the discovery of the most beautiful and lesser-known trails in the territory of Arezzo, through ancient stretches in the places of transhumance, to learn about the history and archaeology of the past, along itineraries that climb the Alpe di Catenaia, the Alpe di Poti or the summit of Pratomagno, with excursions in the Sasso di Simone reserve, in the majestic Casentino Forests, or with routes between nature and faith in the monumental forest of La Verna. 

You can learn about and explore the routes of historic railroads, waterways and ancient aqueducts, Etruscan places and those that tell of Dante Alighieri's passage through the land of Arezzo, and then, stop in small churches, parishes and mountain villages. 

Outdoor Experience is also a program aimed at families and young children, with the fun experience of guided tours in the company of donkeys.
