An off-season and unconventional trip, Elisa and I will take you "home" to taste the best food and meet our people: perhaps you have already been there, certainly never with us

Excursions, meetings, recipes and discoveries: a great little adventure in the heart of Chianti Classico. For those who want to deepen their knowledge of the area, for those who need real and authentic contact with the locals while walking.

This journey will take place in autumn... the season that comes after the harvest, the season of rest with the preparations for the winter. The season of stories next to a fireplace, truths, secrets and magic. To me, a unique opportunity to open the doors of my "home" to those who have the eyes and the soul to truly observe and listen.

We will try to unveil today's Chianti, to discover the origin of its undeniable charm and its poor and harsh past. To better understand its wine and its sincere, rustic, truthful, welcoming people.

It will be a four days tour dedicated to simplicity: the walks will be simple; the food that we will eat and prepare together guided by Elisa's expert hands, will be simple and genuine; it will be easy to be together with the people we will meet, who will host us, who will tell us their stories.

Warning: these 4 days are very dangerous, whoever comes to Chianti ends up not wanting to leave.

1st day - The berardenga, the parish churches and the pacina farm with Giovanna - 11 km
Day 2 - In the heart of Chianti - Lecco and the terraced gardens of Lorenzo - 11km
Day 3 - The historic villas in Chianti and Beppe's Second World War - 10km
Day 4 - Fonterutoli: the Etruscans of Poggino and the spices of Duccio di Tergole - 7km
