The Alberese Oasis

Discovering nature by bike

Take advantage of the summer sun by taking the entire family for an outing at the Oasi Alberese Park, a wonderful natural setting full of uncontaminated beauty. Visitors can reserve guided visits or discover various trails by bike. It’s the season to discover the Regional Park of the Maremma, where many trails are accessible to everyone. Leave your car in town and take a stroll along the bike path that runs from the Alberese Visitors’ Center to Marina di Alberese. Along the way, you’ll see pasture land with grazing horses and cows. At a junction located just 500 meters from the sea, turn right and follow the signs for trail A7, which leads to the Ombrone River. To reach the beach, follow the main road. Those who’d like to spend the day on a longer trail can leave from Alberese and walk along the country road that runs alongside the nature reserve. Mountain bikes are for rent at the Alberese Park’s Visitors’ Center.
