In the hills of Camaiore and Massarosa

By bike or on foot

The itinerary starts with a climb of about 2.5 km; entering the characteristic village we cross it until we get to the end and at a junction we turn right onto a track with some slopes.Through the woods we reach the asphalted roads, we turn left (to the right can be seen the TV repeaters and the town of Montigiano).

After a very quick asphalted stretch we come back onto a wide track that offers wide views on the hills of Massarosa and towards the lake and that leads to the tiny village of Fibbialla, in the municipality of Camaiore.

From here it is best to go down next to the town, via the asphalt road until the carriageway that links the valley of Freddana with that of Monte Quiesa and in the hamlet of Balbano we turn left to go back on the Freddana. We climb towards the town of Piazzano and having passed a hill we continue towards the provincial Freddana road.

We turn towards Camaiore and having passed the town of Valpromaro at a slight slope we arrive at the junction for Massarosa and the Mount Pitoro. We follow the road for Massarosa and after about 1 km we return to the junction for Gualdo, which is where we started.
