You need to retrieve all the elements of mystery and fascination that the darkness is able to convey." The event, now in its fifth year, is organized by the MUS.E Association and this year will involve also the outskirts of Florence, starting from a concert in Sollicciano prison that will feature the convicts and the musicians. The program aims to discover the art spread all around Florence, with artistic paths to be covered on foot. Another main focus is the music, especially live music. The protagonists are all those music that are part of the Afro-American tradition: from rock to jazz to gospel, from reggae to funk to blues. Among other issues: activities for children, craftsmanship, the discover of the Oltrarno, the valorization of the outskirts and the less known places of the city, the reuse of temporary abandoned spaces, book and libraries.
