City walks, museums and fairytales in Florence

Stories of angels and trademen, enchanted walks and a Prince’s home. In Florence, children and adults can join a series of city walks and workshops, in Italian and English, for families – called “Musei da Favola” (fairytale museums) - inspired by the exhibition "The Amazing shoemaker. Fairy Tales about shoes and shoemakers"  (on show at the Ferragamo Museum until 31 March 2014) and held at churches, museums and historic gardens. Here is the schedule of the tours in English: October 2013 Saturday 12, 10.30am, Orsanmichele church – “Angels, Saints and Tradesmen” (city walk + workshop at Museo Salvatore Ferragamo) December 2013 Sunday 29, 10.30am, Pitti Palace – “The Prince’s home” March 2014 Sunday 16, 10.30am, Boboli Gardens – “A walk enchanted”
