One of the most popular Christmas markets in Florence is definitely the Weihnachtsmarkt, the traditional event featuring crafts and flavors from all over Europe.
From November 18 to December 17, the market takes place in Piazza Santa Croce in characteristic wooden houses decorated in Christmas style.
The scent of tasty wurstel and rich grill-cooked pork shanks, together with bretzels, strudels and other delicacies fill the air and invite visitors to give in to the temptations of gluttony, perhaps accompanied by a nice mug of beer tapped on the spot or a glass of warm mulled wine.

At Villa Montalvo (Campi Bisenzio), The World of Santa Claus awaits you with a very rich Christmas program dedicated to the little ones, until December 24.

Empoli is filled with magic with the Christmas Markets: centered on promoting local "handmade" goods and good food, the event gives visitors and citizens an suggestive and memorable experience to share moments of conviviality and festivity.

The magical doors of Natalia open in Fucecchio, five dates (December 3, 8, 9, 10 and 17) to experience the Santa Claus parade with elves, dancers, mascots, floats and Santa Claus himself with sleigh and reindeer.

The fascinating Mercato nel Campo returns to Siena on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3, 2023.
Space for typical Sienese products, but also from other Italian regions and Europe, in more than 140 stalls that will be arranged in Piazza del Campo following the directions given in the 14th century by municipal authorities.

In Montepulciano comes the Christmas Village, which will run from the second weekend in November and will go on throughout the month of December until January 7 - until December 22 on weekends only, then every day including the afternoon of the 25th - with a Christmas market hosted in the magical setting of Piazza Grande and adjacent streets.
Among the wooden huts you'll find Christmas decorations, food products, sweets, clothing and leather goods, local crafts and much more.

Pisa

Starting on December 8 - and again on December 7-8-9-10-15-16-17 - Santa's Factory arrives in Pisa, at the Republican Arsenals: creative workshops, shows for children and the reconstruction of Santa's House.

Arezzo and surroundings

Arezzo becomes a Christmas City, with lots of special events for young and old from November 18 to January 7, from Thursday to Sunday.
In Piazza Grande, the appointment with the Christmas Markets is renewed and the unique atmosphere of the Tyrolean Village with its famous wooden cottages where exhibitors from Tyrol, Germany and Austria offer Christmas items and typicalities.

Lucca

Lucca has no shortage of suggestions for markets and similar: from November 26 until January 6, the city turns into LMN*23 (Lucca Magical Christmas) with the traditional Christmas market in the historic center and continues throughout the holidays with numerous events that include a market exhibition of local and non-local products - Desco, the monthly antiques market in the streets of the center, and the artisan market Arts and Crafts at Christmas - December 8, 10, 22, 24.

Grosseto

Grosseto also turns into a Christmas Village: from December 8 to 26 every afternoon in the Fortress cribs, lights, animations, markets, shows and Santa Claus.
