It's not everyday that we can watch a show like this in the Versilian coast! Yesterday a humpback whale was noticed dancing in front of the beach of Marina di Pietrasanta. The acrobatic animal was seen around 5pm and soon port authorities and the Cetacean Research Center from Viareggio (CE.TUS) came to see what it was all about. The whale was 12 meters (40 feet) long and was always 1-2 miles away from the beach until 8 pm - when she went away, in the south direction.
