Rebel Queen. Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Fest

One of Tuscany's most famous white wines, and the only one to have been mentioned by Dante Alighieri in the Divine Comedy: Vernaccia di San Gimignano lets itself be discovered on June 3 and 4, in a two-day festival of initiatives and tastings.

The event "Rebel Queen. Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Fest" is the first edition of an event entirely dedicated to this Tuscan wine, with a program designed for wine lovers and enthusiasts. In the historic center of San Gimignano, a World Heritage Site since 1990, it will be possible to follow tasting itineraries, meet producers, participate in Masterclasses and starred dinners. 
Guided wine tastings at the Rocca di Montestaffoli, home of the Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Experience, will also be part of the festival.

During the event, the city's restaurants will offer the Vernaccia di San Gimignano Menu, with specially designed pairings between food and wine. It will also be accompanied by evening aperitifs and a DJ set at the Rocca di Montestaffoli.
