At the beginning of the 16th century, Leonardo da Vinci carried out a series of human dissections and autopsies at the Hospital of Santa Maria Nuova in order to further examine the human anatomy. This November, the Santa Maria Nuova Onlus foundation, will host
a series of guided tours that explore Leonardo’s work and connection to the hospital.
Guided tours start from 10:30am onwards and last around 45 minutes. Maximum 25 people. No pre-booking option.
