11th edition of the non-competitive bicycle ride in Valtiberina Toscana

The Intrepida is a non-competitive bicycle ride on two different routes (85 km for the long route and 42 km for the short route) and in which only cyclists equipped with historical bikes and wearing appropriate clothing can participate.

Participants have the opportunity to ride in one of the most beautiful places in Tuscany, on roads laden with charm and history. In fact, the Intrepida takes place in the Valtiberina Toscana, mainly in the territory of the municipality of Anghiari, but passes also through Monterchi, Sansepolcro, Caprese Michelangelo and Citerna, in the neighboring region of Umbria. The ride takes place on the same roads that on June 29, 1440 were the scene of the battle later made famous by master Leonardo da Vinci: the Battle of Anghiari.

The Intrepida, which has become a classic of cycle tourism on vintage bicycles, is currently among the main events, thanks to the beauty of the landscapes that frame the ride, the quality of the routes covered, the delicacies that can be enjoyed at the various refreshment points, the welcome and warmth reserved for the participants, the atmosphere of friendship that makes the entire weekend special.

The race will take place on October 15, but side events will begin as early as October 12.
