The Fabbrica della Natura

In one of the most beautiful Nature Reserves in the Valtiberina Toscana, the Visitor and Environmental Education Center La Fabbrica della Natura opens its doors for a series of activities throughout the month of June.

The program

• Saturday, June 3, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
  Emotions in flight
  Admiring the free flight of birds of prey and other birds, let's discover together many interesting facts about these fascinating animals.
• Saturday, June 10, 5 to 6 p.m.
  Guided tour of the Fabbrica della Natura
  Come discover the curiosities about the Reserve hidden in the rooms of the Visitor Center.
• Saturday, June 17, 4:30 to 6 p.m.
  The ancient ironworks
  Walk to discover the ancient ironworks of the Monti Rognosi.
  Followed by a guided tour of the Nature Museum to learn about the stories of mining in the Monti Rognosi.
  Activities for all.
• Saturday, June 24, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  St. John's Eve
  Waiting for the most magical night of the year, let's walk the paths of the Reserve to discover the herbs and legends related to this ancient holiday. 
  Medium difficulty. Packed lunch.
• Saturday, June 24, 4 to 5 p.m.
  Oil drives away devils
  St. John's Wort, one of the herbs linked to the legends of the summer solstice, together we discover its history, virtues and how St. John's oil is prepared.
