Olive Oil Festival

A popular event that takes place in San Quirico d'Orcia, from December 8 to 11 and accompanies the presentation of the new local extra virgin olive oil, with a series of musical events and street games, in a festive air that can be savored along with bruschetta and puts a cheerful mood.  

Throughout the duration of the Olive Oil Festival, it will be possible to taste the best products of Val d'Orcia's traditional cuisine and extra virgin olive oils of excellence in the historic center. 

Gastronomic novelty of this edition is the street food corner dedicated to fried food! 

During the days of the Festival, Palazzo Chigi will be transformed into "The Palace of Fairy Tales", a magical place where extraordinary experiences between tradition and wonder can be lived. The halls of the Palace will welcome young visitors with themed games, fairy tales, musical experiences, creativity workshops and fantastic characters. 

On the same days it will also be possible to visit the photo exhibition "Impressions and Visions" curated by Enzo Puglisi and the Musica Insieme Cultural Association.
