Three days of celebrations in Piombino for the Summer Solstice
No just one night like in previous years but 3 whole evenings of celebrations, with different events for each date, on June 20, 21 and 22.
The initiative is set to transform Piombino’s city center into a tasting trail, lined with art and performances.
The program:
- Friday, June 20
Summer Solstice
Itinerant dinner along the streets of the city center. Purchase a booklet of tickets to exchange for an aperitif, starter, main course, dessert and coffee, with everyone being able to compose their own menu. - Saturday, June 21
The Party Continues ...
For this occasion, restaurants and other venues will offer special menus dedicated to the event. In Piazza Bovio, giant kites will fill the afternoon sky then after dinner will be national boxing matches will be held. - Sunday, June 22
Street Food
Local venues and restaurants will serve courses comprised of Street Food, with the city center populated by stands of wineries for a truly 5-star evening of food and wine. There will also be a gathering of vintage cars and vespas in Piazza Bovio thanks to the Club Amico di Venturina Terme and the Vespaclub di Piombino. At the Castello, rather, is the Festival 20Eventi.
Craft stalls, music, street performers, photographers and painters, dance schools, inflatables and face painting will be present for all three evenings.
