L'Incantaborgo - Street Art Festival

"L' Incantaborgo" is the Street Art Festival that animates the summers of Sinalunga. This year, from July 14 to 17, it comes back to bring art, shows and magic in Piazza Garibaldi and in the streets of the historic center of the town.

In addition to entertaining the public, the festival aims to raise awareness of the medieval village, squares, streets and historic buildings of Sinalunga, according to the best tradition of "street theater", creating an enchanting atmosphere.

The current edition of the festival offers to the public free admission to magnificent international performances, including circus shows such as Circo in piazza by the Diavoli Rossi Company, theatrical and magic shows such as Le vie est bulle by the Bubble Circus Company, L'Opera Magica by Alberto Giorgi and shows with fire, water and led lights such as Di luce e di fuoco by the Lux Arcana Company or the show Atmosphere. 

In addition, there will be musical shows, dance and rhytmic gymnastics shows, flag-waver's performances and much more. Photographic, painting and sculptural exhibitions will be set up in numerous points of the historic district. Among the various events of the festival, there will be painting and wooden toys workshop for kids and, obviously, a must- have of festivals - tasty street food!

On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17, the Churches (Collegiata di San Martino, Madonna delle Nevi and the Santa Croce Church), the historical seat of the Misericordia di Sinalunga, with the ancient uniforms and other goods that testify the charitable works of the Venerable Confraternity, the Etruscan Rooms of Larth, the Municipal Theater Ciro Pinsuti, will be open to public.

During the days of the festival, guided tours of the underground tunnels of Sinalunga, organised by the Gruppo Archeologico Sinalunghese, will be available for reservation at the Tourist Office of Sinalunga,
