The LARS ROCK FEST is coming to Chiusi from July 8 to 10.
The headliners for the 2022 edition are Algiers, Porridge Radio, Nothing and Faust, proceeded each night by performances from other artists from 9 p.m. until late into the night.
Opening the festival on Friday July 8 will be the Turin post-rock band Low Standards, High Fives, followed by English folk-blues singer-songwriter Duke Garwood, who will then give way to the American post-rock band Algiers. The folk of guitarist Hola La Poyana will close.
Opening on Saturday July 9 will be the psych-rock of A/lpaca, followed by British band Porridge Radio and the shoegaze of American co-headliners Nothing. Aftershow with vocals and guitar by Heron King.
The final evening on Sunday July 10 will feature a concert by the indie rock band Big Cream, the psychedelic live performance of The Winstons, and the last headliner to take the stage for a unique Italian date: the historic German band and standard-bearer of the Kraut-Rock movement, Faust, followed by the final DJ set by Outsiders.

The festival is held at the Public Gardens in Chiusi Scalo and has free admission.
The Record Market and Open Book/Indipendent Publishing Festival will be held again for this edition. Each afternoon the vinyl and CD market will be the setting for the Independent Publishing Festival, which will alternate between literary and music-themed meetings, readings and workshops.
In parallel, the festival also organizes art exhibitions, workshops for young and old, and food and wine tastings.
Pub, fry house and restaurant will be operating during the weekend, with a menu for all palates, with the area's culinary excellence at the center.
Lars Rock Fest promotes environmentally sustainable behavior: it is free of single-use plastic and provides free dispensing drinking water fountains. A dial-a-ride shuttle to the station/lake/historic center of Chiusi is also available and free for all.
The LARS ROCK FEST 2022 festival is organized by the cultural association "GEC - Collateral Effects Group" with the participation of more than 150 volunteers.
