Cherry Festival of Lari

The village of Lari, in the Terre di Pisa, is known for its many varieties of cherries, which are the protagonists of one of the most awaited annual events of the area.

The 2022 edition fo the festival, which takes place in the streets of the center around the wonderful Castello dei Vicari, will take place on the days of May 28 and 29, and from June 2 to 5. During these days, it will be possible to taste cherries and other local food and wine products, getting to know the producers.

The festival also includes a series of artistic and cultural events, such as photographic exhibitions, aperitifs in the square with DJ sets, concerts and archery exhibitions.

The Lari cherry is definitely a protagonist of the territory, with a centuries-old cultivation tradition and almost 20 different varieties.
