The International Biennial of Antiques is one of the most interesting and international events held in Florence, as its name suggests every two years.
The 2024 Biennale runs from 28 September to 6 October, the 33rd edition of an event that is an absolute reference for great Italian art.
"A museum for sale", with 80 important galleries expected, bringing unknown works of art to the banks of the Arno, creating an exhibition of the highest level.
The study, research and expertise of the exhibitors, both new and long-standing, is guaranteed; remember that their clients, in addition to private collectors, are museums all over the world.
The Biennial takes place in a place of exceptional beauty, the Palazzo Corsini on the Arno, normally closed to the public, a rare example of a Baroque building in the city of Florence.
Among the artists on display in the rooms of Palazzo Corsini are works by Bronzino, Tiziano Vecellio, Giovanna Garzoni, Andrea Appiani, Vittorio Corcos, Umberto Boccioni, Antonietta Raphael and Alberto Savinio.
The exhibition is complemented by many collateral events: gala dinners, musical performances for charity, and art-themed conferences, which take place both at Palazzo Corsini and in the city's various museums.
The detailed programme of the Biennial can be found on the website.
