Trekking through the archaeological sites of Asciano
Saturday, September 21, as part of the celebrations for the 4th Etruscan Day, Asciano is organizing a trekking tour and guided visits to discover the two Etruscan necropolises in the area: Poggio Pinci and Molinello.
The program:
- 10:00 a.m. – Meeting at Palazzo Corboli Museum / IAT Crete Senesi, Corso Giacomo Matteotti 122
Departure of the trek (length of the route: approx. 6 km – walking time: approx. 2 hours) - 12:00 p.m. – Arrival at the Necropolis of Poggio Pinci and site presentation
- 12:30 p.m. – Departure of the second trek (length of the route: approx. 2.8 km – walking time: 40 minutes)
- 1:30 p.m. – Arrival at Molinello Tomb and lunch break

- 4:00 p.m. – Departure by shuttle bus, arriving at Palazzo Corboli Museum
- 4:30 p.m. – Guided tour of the Archaeology Section of the museum
