Chianti Classico Marathon 2023

The Chianti Classico Marathon returns on Sunday June 4 to warm the hearts of running and beauty enthusiasts. In fact, the background to the competition is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Italy: the Florentine Chianti Classico area. Soft hills surrounded by history and passion.

Among the wonders crossed by the journey are the new Cantine Antinori, the ancient Abbazia di Badia a Passignano, the stupendous historic center of Greve in Chianti, the medieval village of Montefioralle, perched on the hill, the Castle of Verrazzano and the Castle of Gabbiano. A dive into the past, present and future!

Three possible paths:

• Ultra Trail 45 km
• Trail 21 km
• Nordic Walking a Passo Libero 10 km, non-competitive, for those who want to enjoy the route without stress
