Carrara pays homage to the urban planner Ezio Bienaimé

From Thursday, July 20 to Sunday, January 14, 2024, at CARMI - Carrara and Michelangelo Museum, Carrara pays homage to one of its illustrious sons - Ezio Bienaimé - on the occasion of the centenary of his birth. A tribute that shows an "unusual" Ezio (his effective neologism) so as not to duplicate, as if it were a celebration, what has already been expressed on the two previous occasions dated 2011 and 2018.

The title of the exhibition, "From Ezio... to Carrara", therefore, does not refer to his architecture, the result of his extraordinary genius, examples of compositional, technical and intellectual skills, but to the desire to propose a testimony of his love for the city of Carrara, today represented by that legacy of urban planning proposals that he strongly wanted to transmit to the community, but which, probably, remained in the memory of few.
