Visual artist Alessio Bonini opens his first solo exhibition in Carrara, Arabesque Mantra, on December 7, at the Galleria Civico 1 in Piazza Alberica.
The exhibition represents a journey between abstract art and Oriental symbolism, exploring the connections between self and the universe through pictorial gestures and symbolic writing, enriched by Eastern cultural elements.
The works by Bonini, the result of philosophical reflections and personal curiosity, offer an immersive experience for the viewer, amid brilliant colors and movements that invite inner discovery.
The exhibition includes works that trace his artistic evolution, from Adimensionalism to recent cultural contaminations, offering a comprehensive look at his creative journey.
Born in Genoa in 1986, Bonini was influenced from a young age by his grandfather Franco G. Rossi (Francus), who was linked to artists such as Warhol and Lichtenstein. He has honed his talent since childhood, exploring techniques such as dripping and clay, and collaborating with established artists such as Massimo Bertonati.
Co-founder of ART HUB with Alessandra De Feo, Bonini organizes cultural events of all kinds, from emotional painting workshops to action painting performances to the Onirica Film Festival, an independent film festival.
A unique opportunity to immerse oneself in an art that combines culture, philosophy and spirituality.
The exhibition will be open until January 5, every day, with free entrance.
