You will be guided on a tour of the cellar where the wine rests in barrels and amphorae. We will tell you the history and production philosophy of Davinum and explain the methods of harvesting, vinification and aging. The aging process combines the most modern techniques with traditional practices, handed down from generation to generation, in order to obtain products of the highest quality.
You will discover interesting facts about the centuries-old local winemaking tradition and how ancient Tuscan grape varieties such as Pugnitello and Foglia Tonda have been recovered.
At the end of the tour you will taste four wines produced by Davinum, paired with local charcuterie, Tuscan cheeses and mixed crostini, with tasting and pairing advice from our sommelier. You will also taste a preview of new vintages, straight from the barrels.
