Trekking at the source of the Rovigo River

Hike with a high naturalistic value in the heart of Mugello among woods, streams, waterfalls and outcrops typical of Tuscany

From Prato all'Albero we will arrive at the beautiful Capanna Marcone bivouac, follow the Pianacci ditch that through small fords will lead us to the surprising Abbraccio Waterfall.

We will observe the remarkable biodiversity of the environment and going on we will admire the peculiar rock stratifications towards the Sambuca pass. We will go around Mount Carzolano following the GEA trails that will lead us to the sources of the Rio Rovigo and to the Capanna Sicuteri. From here we will admire the last views and we will be ready for the return towards the Colla pass: an experience not to be missed in the heart of Mugello!
