Learn how to prepare typical Italian dishes at the Farm Le Pietre Vive located in Montaperti, in the Chianti area.
Led by nonna Ciana, we'll make fresh home-made, hand rolled pasta (tagliatelle, tagliolini, pappardelle) or gnocchi di patate (potato dumplings), an "antipasto" and a main course (often we make chicken with Vin Santo or with our homegrown saffron, or maybe one of our delicious vegetarian dishes with eggplant, peppers or zucchini).
The preparation of a Tuscan dessert will follow and, at the end of the class, we'll eat these delicious dishes, accompanied by our own Chianti Colli Senesi wine. We'll be all together, our team and the other participants in the class, following the best Italian tradition.
After all, while Italian cooking is about tradition and about the simplest and freshest local ingredients, it also means enjoying sharing great dishes with friends and family, letting good food and wine bring people together.
