Tour to discover Alpe di Cavarzano
Great hike in the heart of the upper apennines of Prato on the edge of the Suviana Basin
We are in the heart of the Alto Carigiola and Monte delle Scalette Protected Area, one of the most interesting and best-preserved areas of the Tuscan Apennines. The area is characterized by the ruggedness given by the steep slopes and deep valleys rich in water.
An itinerary that unfolds through scenic ridges with a succession of breathtaking panoramic views, abandoned villages and immense beech forests.
An engaging and rewarding experience for those who want to discover intact historical places with a high degree of naturalness by following a route outside of mass tourism.

The tour will take place on Sunday, October 1 at 8.30 am.

- What to bring: sack lunch, water 1,5 liter each, mandatory waterproof hiking or trail shoes, long pants, layered clothing (micro fleece, windproof, shell or k-way), optional trekking poles, backpack and battery charger.
