The lands of Pomino and the Consuma

Beautiful trekking from the heart of Chianti Rufina going up to the Consuma Pass

An itinerary with a special charm where tidy vineyards, precursors of specialized mono varietal cultivation at considerable altitudes, coexists with coniferous forests creating a unique landscape.

We will depart from Pomino surrounded by wide vineyards, and travel through historic places of memory such as the farmhouses of Berceto before crossing the Madonna dei Fossi. A beautiful forest path will lead us up to the "Passo della Consuma" (Consuma Pass), where we will not miss the opportunity to taste the famous "schiacciata ripiena"!

Refreshed, the return route through a beautiful forest of american spruce along the Moscia valley awaits us, where we will delve into the special features and historical figures of this landscape.

Pomino and its vineyards
The woods of the Moscia valley
The views of Consuma and the Tuscan schiacciata snack.

The tour will take place on Sunday, April 16, starting at 9:00 am.
