A guided tour on Setteponti ("seven bridges"), which traces the ancient Roman consular road Cassia Vetus, one of the most picturesque streets of the Florentine countryside.
Not only does the beauty of nature makes it a must,a landscape of hills and terraced olive groves, but also the extraordinary presence of numerous Romanesque churches.
From the elegant church of Cascia Reggello, where we will visit the Triptych of San Giovenale, first work by Masaccio, to the parish church of Gropina. Considered a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture in Tuscany, the church is not far from Loro Ciuffenna, one of the “most beautiful villages in Italy”.
We will pass also by the Castelfranco-Piandiscò abbey and conclude our tour with Buriano Bridge, which according to many scholars is the bridge pictured behind the Mona Lisa, the famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci.
Throughout the tour you will be with an experienced guide, who will take you through the history, secrets and curiosities of this charming location.
