One day in Monteriggioni, Siena, San Gimignano and Chianti

A full day tour to discover the rolling hills of Chianti and all the beauties that Tuscany has to offer. The first stop will be Monteriggioni, a picturesque fortress perched on a hill surrounded by a fairytale landscape made up of hills, vineyards and cypresses. Explore the historic center of this picturesque hamlet during your free time and why not, stroll on the ancient walls for a breathtaking experience.

The second stop will be Siena, the ancient rival of Florence, a city characterized by architectural wonders of incomparable beauty. Your local guide will take you on a guided tour of the city, admiring Piazza del Campo, the heart of the city, dominated by the Palazzo Pubblico and the Torre del Mangia, and then continue to Piazza Duomo, where you will admire from the outside the wonderful Gothic Cathedral.

After a delicious lunch with wine included, you will leave for San Gimignano, the iconic medieval city famous all over the world for its 13 still intact towers, as well as for the production of the delicious Vernaccia white wine. You will have all the free time necessary to admire the wonderful panorama surrounding you and getting lost among the small squares and alleys of the city.

Finally, cross the heart of Chianti to reach a characteristic local winery, immersed in a picture-postcard landscape. What better way to end the day than toasting with your travel companions? Enjoy a delicious wine tasting in the company of an expert sommelier, before returning to Florence pampered by the memories of the day.
