In autumn, the hills in Valdichiana Senese light up with beautiful colors that become a delight for the eyes, and the air is filled with the scent of the grapes and olives, which instead become a delight for the palate.
The gourmet autumn in Valdichiana Senese is a four-day journey to discover the seasonal products of this land: you will live the unique experience of the breakfast during the harvest in a winery producing Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG. During the tour you'll visit a local dairy that produces Pecorino di Pienza and have lunch in a Chianina farm. The journey continues with a tour in an oil mill where you will be guided in an educational tasting of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
You'll have also the opportunity to explore Montepulciano: an expert guide will accompany you on a tour of the underground cellars of the historic center.

Breakfast during the harvest: enjoy a unique experience together with the winemakers of Montepulciano, discover a special moment like breakfast after working in the vineyard.
Visit of a dairy farm of Pecorino di Pienza located in the beautiful Val d'Orcia. Be it fresh, semi-seasoned, or seasoned, you will realize that Pecorino cheese from Pienza is excellent in every version, pure or paired with honey or jams.
Day 3
Visit a Chianina calves’ breeding farm, where you will meet the white giant of Valdichiana Senese and have a tasting-lunch featuring the renowned Chianina meat.
Tour of the historical cellars of Montepulciano with wine tasting.
Day 4
Visit of an oil mill with a olive oil guided tasting.You will share with the producers of Valdichiana Senese the experience of the pressing of the olives after a year of care of the olive grove. You will taste the new oil with toasted bread directly in the oil mill.
