Just as it was for the Etruscans, Cortona is still located in a strategic position that allows with low effort, to visit historical places and admire breathtaking views.
This route will be familiar to locals, but difficult to plan without a guide. I will tell you about the many intriguing stories of this area, from the old lake, the maps of the surrounding area by Leonardo da Vinci and the numerous battles fought over control of the city.

Our guide will let you discover the most important sites from this place like: Villa Bramasole (the famous villa that has been restaurated by the writer Frances Mayes, from the book and later the movie of "Under the Tuscan sun"), the church of Santa Margherita, the Medici fortress, Franciscan hermitage "Le Celle" to follow up on white panoramic roads to the city where you will see some secrets of the small town.
Upon request we could depart from the Camucia - Cortona railway station, which is easy to reach even for those coming by train from Florence Santa Maria Novella.
