Easy eBike tour on the hills of Valdichiana around Castiglion Fiorentino

Let’s join us, let yourself go thanks to one of the most beautiful routes in Valdichiana area, and add this experience to your memories book. The best way to discover the enchanting and bewitching landscape of these lands.

We depart from Castiglion Fiorentino's station, which is easy to reach even for those coming by train from Florence Santa Maria Novella.

Starting out from the railway station of Castiglion Fiorentino we will meander our way into the Valdichiana (valley of the Chiana's river) and follow it south. We will continue gradually into the surrounding hills enjoying enchanting olive groves, vineyards, woodlands and pastures before arriving at Montecchio Castle (13th Century) which dominates the valley below.

This route will be familiar to locals but difficult to plan without a guide. I will tell you about the many intriguing stories of this area, from the old lake, the maps of the surrounding area by Leonardo da Vinci and the numerous battles fought over control of the city.
