Cerreto Guidi at sunset and the night of Isabella

A tour among nature, art and history, a villa awarded the title of Unesco Heritage Site and the emancipated tragic figure of Isabella de' Medici are the ingredients of this proposal. We will take an itinerary through the Medici countryside around Florence in conjunction with the historical re-enactment "The Night of Isabella" where the village will return to the atmosphere of the 1500s among nobles and commoners, taverns and ancient crafts.

We are at the center of an area created by the union of nature and man, on our way we will encounter historic roads used by the Etruscans and Romans, while wonderful views of Cerreto will open up from the Colle di San Zio from where we will admire a spectacular sunset. Accompanied by starlight and illuminated by our flashlights we will continue to the historic center of Cerreto Guidi where we will attend the medieval festival and the Medicean Bridges show.

The tour will take place on Saturday, July 1, departing at 6 pm.

• Height difference: 200 meters positive
• Trail type: double loop, historical, scenic interests between nature and culture
• Dogs allowed: yes, to be communicated at the time of booking to verify the achievement of the maximum number recommended for the hike
