The tour includes a guided visit to the Larderello museum, a newly conceived museum area, completely interactive. Starting from the uses of geothermal resources from the Etruscan and medieval periods, the tour shows the industrial development of this geothermal territory and the challenge of alternative energies. It will also be possible to attend to the demonstration opening of a geothermal well directly from the extraction site.

The visit ends with a trek in Sasso Pisano, to reach some natural geothermal events, including fumaroles, boiling pools and steam jets. A unique and unmissable experience.
