Strolling through Certaldo Alto, a medieval village tucked inside of well-preserved walls, head up the small streets of Costa Alberti and Costa Vecchia and discover a stunning scene. The Val d'Elsa, a valley which takes its name from the Elsa River located between the provinces of Florence and Siena, is characterized by its soft rolling hills, cypress trees, castles and towers.
