Parco Museo Quinto Martini - Seano

The Quinto Martini Park Museum

The museum was opened in 1988 while the artist was still alive

In the suggestive landscape of the Carmignano hills, the Quinto Martini Park exhibits 36 bronze sculptures by the artist created between 1931 and 1988—a perfect museum experience with each work fixed in an eternal moment. Primarily a sculptor and painter, Quinto Martini was introduced to art by Ardengo Soffici, his master and friend. He collaborated on a diversity of newspapers and periodicals and attended the  Gabinetto Viesseux in Florence, where he created friendships with some of the most interesting, and important, personalities of Tuscany and Italy in the 1900s. He is, without doubt, one of the most significant representatives of Italian sculpture of the 20th century.
