The exhibition centre in Santa Luce is located in the former city hall building, situated in the medieval part of the city. Together with the centers in Castellina Marittima and Volterra, it documents the centuries long working of alabaster, which is of great historical importance in the area.

In the Pomaia fraction, and near the valley of the Marmolaio torrent, visitors can tour the old extracting cave, called Cave del Massetto. It is the only cave in which a precious, high-quality type of alabaster is found.

Opening hours: By appointment only.
