A sculpture at the Luigi Pecci Centre for Contemporary Art


An enormous scythe of cement, more than 40 metres that symbolically unites the access road of the autostrada to the museum. Staccioli said that “Constructing an idea is like constructing a building, you have to think about the space of its material realization like an opportunity for reading and imaginative hypothesese about the environmental context.” The sculpture is located in Viale della Repubblica 277, in the garden of the Luigi Pecci Centre for Contemporary Art.
