Leonardo’s native home in Anchiano

Where genius is born

Via di Anchiano

Approximately 3 kilometres from Vinci in the locality of Anchiano, visitors can find the native home of Leonardo da Vinci. Leonardo was born on April 15, 1452, in this colonial house located amid the open country-side. It testifies to ancient traditions and has been amply mentioned by historian Emanuele Repetti.
