A collection of more than 100 years of art, film and work

What do Franco Zeffirelli's cinematic masterpieces ("The Taming of the Shrew", "Romeo and Juliet", "Brother Sun, Sister Moon", "Othello") and James Ivory's "A Room with a View" have in common? All of these works of art were made through collaboration with Cerratelli Tailor’s shop, which, in part, contributed to its success.

The Cerratelli House of Art was founded in the early 1900s by Arturo Cerratelli, as well as one of the first performers of Giacomo Puccini's "Boheme". Always recognized as a pearl of the Italian and international sartorial scene, the company works for the most important theatrical and television shows, in cinema and ballet. Not to mention the world-renowned directors and dress designers who have decided to entrust the making of garments to Cerratelli.

It is still possible today to admire the prestigious, strictly Made in Italy works at the Cerratelli Foundation at Villa Roncioni in San Giuliano Terme. The costume collection boasts some 30,000 artifacts (also available for rental) that testify to an inimitable heritage of craftsmanship. It is one of the richest repertories in the world.
