Located in the former Lorenzini Barracks, in the historic centre of Lucca, the Cartoon Museum was created to conserve and display the collection of around 30,000 original drawings and 500,000 albums and magazines which have been gathered since 1965 in conjunction with the annual International Comics Salon in Lucca.
