
Golf Club Hermitage on Elba Island
Enjoy a round of golf a stone’s throw from the seaside
The Golf Club Hermitage is located a short distance from the Biodola beach on Elba Island. The green vaunts nine holes, all PAR 3, excelt for one PAR 4, ranging from 60m a.s.l. to sea level.
Planted in the 1980s by the engineer Paolo De Ferrari, the 1,275-metre route is part of the Arcipelago Toscano National Park, against a backdrop of the nearby bay and even Capraia Island on the horizon.
The two artificial lakes are unique, the larger of which is flanked by a practice green, allowing guests to test their skills with floating balls. Overall, there are 10 covered tees and 3 in the green, as well as a putting green, pitching green and a driving range.
