The Coalman Museum in Baggio (Pistoia) was established to record and preserve the history of local charcoal production. Split between two rooms, the exhibit displays clothes, tools, equipment and objects traditionally used by the people living in the mountains, particularly focusing on the work and skill of the woodcutters and coalburners.
Outside, visitors can take a look inside a reconstructed coal pit and the coal store where coal is kept during the year.
