Audiovisual Museum of the Italian Resistance Movement in Massa Carrara and La Spezia

Located in Fosdinovo, it is an important documentation centre of the Italian Resistance Movement in the provinces of Massa Carrara and La Spezia

Fosdinovo
Historical accounts of WWII and the Italian Resistance that are conserved and displayed in the museum were collected from people who had first-hand knowledge of the historic event. Oral accounts and modern video technology give visitors a rich cultural and historical view of the events surrounding WWII. The museum, therefore, does aim to give an antiquated account of the war, but to promote and safeguard the public’s remembrance of it with the use of audiovisual tools.
